About the Project
Nhỏ to Việt Nam
"Small to Big Vietnam" is a personal cultural project, first launched in 2020. The project uses emojis as a means of expressing stories about Vietnamese culture.

Foundation
The author conceived the idea in late 2019 and started implementing it in April 2020. The project "Nho To Vietnam" was completed and published in August 2020. This was also the period when author Minh Ngoc had just completed her study program at Lasalle College of the Arts (Singapore).
From the perspective of a Vietnamese person who went abroad to seek knowledge and experience, it was the collision with different cultures that motivated the author to go back and deeply research the beauty of his own culture. Combining his life experience and acquired knowledge, the author chose two topics: "national costumes" and "emojis" and combined them together. And the project "Nho To Vietnam" was born.

Goals and direction
As a young person who wants to communicate with young people, the author has clearly outlined the project's goal: Providing snack-sized knowledge - small bite-sized pieces, accompanied by an eye-catching appearance to arouse readers' interest in learning more . No dogma, no rush, no pressure. The project is completely unambitious and does not try to become a complete and academic encyclopedia on the subject of national culture. I hope readers will also approach the project with this mindset.
In the future, the project is expected to develop in an educational direction, supporting the dissemination of knowledge. The author does not intend to fully commercialize the project.

Conclusion
After the project was announced, there was a wave of feedback - this was expected by the author, but the scale of the feedback far exceeded the expectation. The majority of the feedback was extremely positive and supportive. Many people pointed out details that were not really accurate compared to reality. We sincerely acknowledge all these valuable contributions. Since the original project announcement platform, Instagram, does not support photo changes, editing the original project was not possible. Therefore, this website was born so that readers can access more frequently updated and accurate information.
