The Bahnar are one of the most populous ethnic groups and have a great influence on cultural and social factors in the Central region of our country. Bahnar men are usually shirtless, wearing black loincloths with red stripes running down them. Only during festivals or when it is cold do they wear short-sleeved shirts and pullovers. Women wear black skirts, also with square pullovers, with or without sleeves. The costumes of village elders and shamans are similar to those of the people but with more patterns and red.
