The Brau people migrated to Vietnam about 100 years ago from southern Laos and northeastern Cambodia. Men used to wear loincloths and women wore skirts. In the summer, men and women often went shirtless or wore short pullovers. In the cold season, they often wore a blanket. Women had the custom of stretching their ears to wear golden bamboo rings or ivory earrings.
