There is a hypothesis that the Churu people were once part of the Cham community, then separated and lived in isolation. The Churu people developed agriculture, not handicrafts. Their costumes were mainly exchanged with neighboring ethnic groups such as the Cham, K'Ho, Raglai, Ma, etc
