The Jeh - Tariang are good at weaving, developing the craft of weaving, and some areas have a tradition of panning for alluvial gold and making pottery. Jeh - Tariang women wear long, sleeveless tube dresses, indigo background, with red stripes on the top and bottom. This type of dress is quite rare among ethnic minorities. Men wear loincloths, go shirtless, and when it is cold, they wear shirts. On special occasions, the Jeh - Tariang wear large indigo-colored robes that cover their entire bodies.
