Hani

Since the 8th century, ancient documents have recorded the presence of the Hani people in the Northwest of Vietnam. However, most of the current Hani people are descendants of the Hani generation who migrated from China to Vietnam around the 18th century. The Hani people are good at terraced farming, know how to make use of fertilizers and irrigation. The main color of the Hani Hoa women's costumes is red, wearing hats with many colorful tassels. The main color of the Hani Black women's costumes is black, decorated with delicate white or blue patterns. When married, the Hani Black women will braid their hair and wigs, wrap them around their heads, and then wear a scarf.
