The La Chi people are good at cultivating terraced fields and growing wet rice. Men wear a five-panel long dress, buttoned on the right armpit, and wear a turban or scarf. Women wear a four-panel long dress, a bib, and a cloth belt. On holidays, La Chi women wear an additional scarf on their heads. The main color of La Chi clothing is indigo black.
