The Pula Lao - Bo Kho Pa group has been present in the Northwest region of Vietnam for a long time, other groups have only appeared in the past 200-300 years. Women of the Pula Lao group wear skirts with short pullover shirts, square necks. The costumes are decorated with embroidery, beads and mountain shells. Men wear wide pants with black indigo shirts, the back of the shirt is decorated with many sparkling beads. Other Pula groups have women wear pants with long shirts with open chests or short shirts with open armpits.
